This study aims to describe the effectiveness of Assure model in learning biographical texts class X IPS 3 SMA Negeri 7 Bandar Lampung.This used descriptive qualitative method. The source data this research is context Indonesian language teaching and activities with text material. form applying collection technique was observation recording observing interviews, while technical analysis triangulation.Based on results discussion that application assure effective Lampung. Effectiveness marked by calculation accordance assessment guidelines, namely obtaining a score 68 criteria APKG I for assessing lesson plans have been designed II practices class.
